APM Duties & Returns
Because of the special nature of APM orders, there are some differences in fees and returns. We take care of the shipping costs for you but an additional small import fee may apply to our customers. We appreciate your understanding as we do our very best to give our customers access to a wide variety of high-quality telescopes and binoculars, including special order brands like APM!

Some APM products are shipped directly from Germany and are subject to import duties upon entry into the US that you will be notified to pay at the time of delivery.
For high-value orders, the freight company may contact you for your SSN/Tax ID and to request power of attorney to allow them to handle import paperwork on your behalf.
APM Returns & Refunds
Because some of APM’s products are shipped directly from Germany, we are not able to cancel your order once it has been placed or offer returns at this time.
In the case that your telescope arrives with a manufacturing defect, it will need to be shipped back to the manufacturer in Germany for them to repair it.
When your order arrives, please check for any visible damage to the packaging! In the case that your order arrives with any damages acquired during transit, please notify us immediately and we can file an insurance claim on your behalf. When signing for a damaged package at delivery, note on the signature form that it is damaged, otherwise we will not be able to process the insurance claim.
We know that once you've placed your order, you are anxious to receive it! We make every effort to get your order shipped out to you as quickly as possible.
As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail. This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase. We will process the charges to your credit card and your order will ship within five business days from the date of your order. We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out. If you do not receive tracking information from us within six business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Standard shipping time in the US is between 3-5 business days, though it can vary slightly depending on the destination. We typically For updates on your shipment you can enter your tracking number here.
We distribute nationwide via UPS and Fedex. Unfortunately, at this time we are not able to provide expedited or international shipping.
